The building’s design, scale, and materials all contribute to maintaining the historic integrity of the Hart house and village.
Code violation correction and ADA compliance project providing additions and alterations to an 82,000-square-foot elementary school, incorporating accessible routes through ramps and an elevator, new fire protection and life safety systems, and new heating and cooling systems through new and existing facilities. The project included major renovations, providing a new media center and additions, including new classrooms and a new gymnasium.

A 41,000-square-foot professional office provides medical offices for pediatric, internal medicine, and dental groups, as well as law and psychiatric office space. The simple geometry and efficient structure are scaled down through the introduction of different materials and forms, providing the desired character with the necessary cost efficiencies.
Reynolds Subaru
The programmatic requirements of this 12-bay car dealership service facility located on Hamburg Cove in Lyme, Connecticut, required this three-story structure to be nested in the landscape in order to maintain its compatibility with the surrounding village’s scale and character. The building utilized reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, pre-stressed concrete planks, and prefabricated steel truss structural systems, while exterior materials relate to the surrounding context.
